At Stone Creek Dental, we are proud to welcome Dr. Nithin Thampi to the team. He is an incredibly passionate and talented dentist. Also, he makes coming to work every day an enjoyable experience and adds to the office’s atmosphere. Dr. Thampi spends so much time pouring out to his patients and getting to know them, so we wanted to allow all of you to get to know him a little better.
Dr. Thampi was born and raised in West Nyack, New York. He attended a 7-year BS/DDS program through the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Engineering and graduated with his DDS in 2018 from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Afterward, he completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York.
There, he gained extensive training in restorative, pediatric, and emergency dentistry, as well as in prosthodontics and oral surgery. Then, Dr. Thampi settled in Massachusetts, where he practiced for several years. He recently realized what we already know. Texas is a fantastic place to live and work! He got married in July and quickly relocated to DFW.
Additionally, Dr. Thampi entered the dental field as a senior in high school after shadowing at a local dental office. He desired to make the dental experience patient-friendly and gentle. He is always smiling and strongly desires to help patients gain confidence. Dr. Thampi strives to be an active listener and build long-term patient relationships.
Outside the office, Dr. Thampi enjoys spending time with his wife, friends, and family. Also, he loves reading, taking dental continuing education courses, watching movies, traveling, cooking, playing piano, and engaging actively with his church community.
